With the launch of Warhammer Age of Sigmar Second Edition, independent event and tournament organisers are working on different ways of incorporating all the new rules into their Age of Sigmar 2 event packs. Whether it is a narrative event or a competitive matched-play tournament, tournament organisers need to make decisions about realm rules, spells, artefacts and more so that players have a clear idea of what to expect.
There are also several different approaches to how scoring, scenarios, objectives, tiebreakers, painting and sportsmanship will be accounted for and rewarded.

- Warhost (July 18) – Endless Spells and realm artefacts only
- Summer Massacre (July 18) – just Endless Spells
- German event hosted by Die Würfelgötter (July 18) – just Endless Spells
- Summer Carnage (July 18) – realmscape rules apply, each wizard can know a single realm spell, realm artefacts and endless spells in play.
- Midwest Meltdown (July 18) – realm artefacts, realm spells and TO selected realmscape features
- BLACKOUT (August 18) – realm artefacts, one realm spell and TO selected realmscape features
- Pompey Pillage (August 18) – realm rules in play, realm determined for entire event each round, 1 realmscape feature to apply across all the games in each round. Not playing Ghur.
- Bravery One British Open (August 18) – realm artefacts and additional army-building restrictions
- NOVA Open AoS GT (Sept 18) – All Malign Sorcery – Realm and Realmscape feature pre-determined for each round
- Sydney GT (Sept 18) – Realm Artefacts but not Realmscape features
